Universe 8113 Progressive Existence Site Rating: PG-13. M rating not common Experience level: Intermediate Imagine a world where mutants were not feared. Can’t do it? No problem. Mutants are feared in Universe 8113 as much as they are anywhere else. But they were so close. In this universe, Magneto put away his distrust of humans and joined Xavier in building what would become the Xavier-Lehsherr Academy. The lack of mutant radicals has a profound impact on the world. A mutant right’s bill was beginning to formulate, the government set up a specialized police department to deal with mutant crimes—those committed by and against mutants. All seemed to be going well for a time until a mutant’s power manifestation destroyed part of Empire State University. Public opinion on mutants dropped faster than a lead balloon. The rights bill is silently swept out away with no one willing to sponsor it. And Dr. Bolivar Trask begins to push his agenda of artificially intelligent robots to police the mutant population while the Reverend William Stryker preaches that mutants are an abomination to God and must be eradicated.
