Ariadne couldn't help but laugh but his wording was troubling her, she had spent so much time being analyzed by her mother that she had gotten good at it. The only problem was did she want to be, sure it made her essays for english more interesting and better quality then most of the other kids but it still bugged her.
"I think that twisted is an undertstatement there has got to be a word stronger then that to discribe what they have put themselves and those around them through" Like horridly disfigured or something.
This whole thing was going a bit to far, everyone and their screwed up sense of fashion. She couldn't look at any of the perfects, aka socialites or bitches, and wonder how much of them was real and how much was some artists rendition of what a girl should look like. And of those she would wonder how many of them her dad had operated on, it as all way more then twisted. And for the sake of her own sanity she tried to avoid the whole thingat all costs.

"Gruesom? Fucked up? There's a lot of oppertunities here, you can mainly take your pick from the lot of them!" he offered. What they put themselves through? Yeah, it was twisted that they did so, but just the knowing that what most of the did it for was initiated by the wish to be popular, accepted. At least there were some things that seemed more fair back in Japan; school uniforms, for one, which meant clothing didn't matter. Meh... but they were dull! He'd gotten a note from the headmaster simply for wearing ear-rings! Just cause he was a boy? Fucked up system! They had also claimed to hate his choker, but he didn't take it off either. In the end they'd all give up...
"Though, there is one fact. They all seem to be enjoying it. At least those on the top. Which means they won't stop what their doing and I'll simply not bother much more with them. It's just one more year here, so it doesn't really matter all that much what happens," he said carelessly, stretching a bit before he jumped to his feet and walked over to the edge of the roof, peering down. Meh... they seemed to be doing their last whatever-it-was down in PE, which means he'd really have to go down all the stairs. Ah well! That meant drawing and watching the others drawing and-... well, art wasn't really the worst subject, as mentioned before.

Ariadne walked over to the edge and stood beside him, "Yeah they all love their lives no matter what they had to do for them." She knew that much from being around her sister. Renee hadn't cared about what grades she got she was too busy getting her hair done and her nails done and making sure she had the perfect tan all year long. They spent so much time becoming perfect, the perfect clothes, the perfect look, the perfect attitude, and the perfect life.
She noticed that the class was almost over and looked at her watch, it was a huge leather studded thing that her sister hated, all the more reason for her to wear it. "So I guess we had better be off now." She said simply smiling over at him, "Really nice talking with you."

"I could say the same to you," Adam smiled before he walked over and picked up his guitar-case. "It's always nice to have someone to share oppinions with." Sliding the guitar-case onto his back, it was easy to see just where he fit into the system at W.A.C. And not only because of the guitar, but also because of the complete absence of label clothes. Everything he wore was from some twisted shop or remains from his last shopping spree in Harajuku. Hmm... He'd have to go there again sometime, as they had a lot of amusing stuff!
"Hey, be sure to come up here next time you get bored during seventh period, nee? I'm pretty sure I'll be up here," he joked, stretching slightly. Staying up there for a whole period had been a bit long, but it was that or PE, an easy choice therefor. "As for now I'm destined to art-class, where I, hopefully, can retire in a corner with just me and my pencils. Which is rather easy, as people tend to avoid me, sort of," he continued half-way joking, but it was fun. And it gave him something halfway truthful to say. So it was better than saying nothing, right?

"I might just do that." Ariadne said as she reached the edge and began to climb down. "Have fun with art and all that." she was glad that she had actually been able to talk to someone because nomatter how much fun it was to dream away another class it didn't beat being able to rant about the populars with someone who shared her ideals. It was ironic she probably learned more about politics that she could actually use by studying the school social structure then she ever learned in that boring classroom.Because politics was basically a giant popularity contest, like voting for the prom queen or something like that, and if anything showed the true horror of popularity it was highschool.
She paused for a moment on the way down and smiled at him "You know this year might just suck a little less now." Sure she had friends that shared her beliefs about popularity. There was pretty much a whole group of them but she hadn't been able to hang out with them that much so far, except of course if they had the same class or lunch. But with the scarcity of nonconformists verses conformist it was alway nice to have another person join the ranks of the good guys.

Mainly the words "I might do that" managed to have him smile wider. Because he knew that he'd be happy if she'd show up again, mainly because, well, he had enjoyed speaking ot her. She was realistic enough to be interesting yet also she seemed to have enough imagination to keep it fun. A trait most people lacked, at least in high school. People there were either too realistic or too wacko to even try to talk to them. Not that he wasn't considered among hte last category, but yeah... She was interesting.
"Suck a little less? Well, isn't it magical how one period of relaxation can do to you? It seems brighter already," he winked at her before following her down. As he climbed down, the chains attatched to his pants jingled slightly, yet when he got both of his feet back on the ground, they quieted down again. "Now, I wonder what several more periods up here can do for your year then!"

Ariadne thought about it for a moment "With a year I might just be able to survive a phone conversation with my sister without going insane." She hated talking with her sister, but it was amusing and she would have loved it if she was watching and not actually involved "Though that might be a bit of a streach so I'll stick to surviving the school year without killing anyone." She figured she could do that after all thats what she had done for the last few years of school and she figured that there wasn't going to be that much differnce between this time and in the past years.
((Shortness ..ugg... sorry))

Tilting his head sideways and looking at her, Adam tried to figure out just what Ariadne meant with her words. Survive a phonecall? Now, that sounded familiar... About how he felt whenever his parents or his brother would call him and be all "how are you doing?". As if they really cared! All they wanted to know was how his grades where, if he had gotten to know anybody with pedigree and if he'd stopped acting the way he did. And sadly, he'd have to let them down on all points.
"Well, surviving school without killing anyone... Hmm... If what I can remember from my last year here, it was all down to not putting my pocket-knife into my school-bag. Cause there were times when it would have been tempting," he grinned. Yeah, well, he'd never really use it, but... Sometimes he'd just love to see one of those damn jocks squirm for him. Not the other way around, as it had been last year.
